The Margaret Dodson prize was instigated for the best free paper by a health professional submitted to the annual scientific meeting. Margaret Dodson was a consultant anaesthetist in Liverpool and founder member of the AAA.

 

The prize has been funding for an individual to travel to a foreign scientific meeting with a programme relevant to the interests of AAA.

 

It is now a cash prize.

Runner up: £150

Best Poster: £100

 

The prize is awarded at the discretion of the AAA Council.
